Producer Profile; The estate of Chateau Laujac was taken over by Bernard Cruse in the early 60's. His first change was to re-plant the entire vineyard so as to start from scratch. It is located in the heart of the Medoc, spread over two vineyards, the Laujac is on gravel soils while the Laffitte is planted on clay limestone, both are of the finest soils ot the appellation.
After 55 harvests, Bernard passed the property and vineyard onto his daughter Vanessa along with her husband Rene-Philippe Duboscq. Their goal is to produce the best wines possible of this unique terroir.
