This is 100% Tempranillo and is full of character. Warming red berry flavours, soft in style with a touch of spice on a long finish.
Producer Profile:
Proelio is the essence of modern Rioja. the vineyards are situated at almost 800m above the sea and orientated towards the north. This is really high for Rioja and results in a cooler season and a lot more effort.
Wine is vinefied with indigenous yeast and all parcels are vinefied seperately. Proelio means battle in Latin and is a refrence to all the hard work in difficult conditions that these wines are made in.
