Soft cherry notes and hints of blackcurrants. With a little age behind it, it is now showing some traditional earthy aromas and lovely spice undertones.

Producer Profile;

Established at the beginning of the 20th Century, Domaine Georges Lignier has successfully remained a family-owned estate. The Domaine now covers 17 applelations over 16 hectares, principally planted with Pinot Noir. The average age of the vines are 50 years, resulting in low yield production and no replanting in the last fifteen years.
