Producer Profile; Jean Loron was born in Chenas in 1711. He began making wine in and around burgundy, and in 1821 his grandson Jean-Marie took over the family business, adding a negociant branch. Today, Maison Loron is still in the family run by the eight generation. They are now the only negociant to specialise almost entirely (80%) in the wines of Beaujolais and Bourgogne.
