Description; Ruby colour with a hue of magenta. Red cherry, violets, pepper and leather on the nose. Balanced acidity, focused flavours and medium tannins, with good length.

Producer profile; The story of this wine starts back in 1363 when the Corsini family purchased three farms huddled together on the top of a hill over looking Florence. Noted for their strategic location and existing vineyards along with multiple olive groves, the land was of fine agricultural value. In the 16th centuary, the family went on to create 'Villa La Corti', one of the most prestigious villas and estates in Tuscany. The villa was built from the ground up, excavating three stories down to produce huge cellars and a production area for the vineyards. The earth was then banked back up and the villa sits above the ancient factory below, which is still in use to this day!

Moving forward and after a Pope, a Senator and a Prince, all Corsini's to the present day, Duccio Corsini, Duke of Casigliano along with his wife both head up the estate and oversee the wine production. They believe firmly in producing high quality wines that accurately express the territory while respecting the environment, seasonality and the rythems of nature. For this reason, since 2013, they have been commited to organic cultivation and methods throughout the vineyards and the wine production. Their wines now carry both the organic and vegan label.
