Producer profile; Salcheto was set up as a sustainable winery sitting in the heart of Tuscany. It was purchased in 1997 and after only a few years, Michele Manelli started to overhaul the vineyards, the buildings and the wine production. Today they are completely Organic, sustainable and biodiverse, covering every aspect of the vineyard and its environmental impact on nature. They are the first company certified in the world, to carbon footprint a bottle of wine and have even designed a new bottle "Bordolese Toscanella". Its shape based on an ancient Tuscan design, which is now the lightest and most ecological to manafacture on the market.
