One of my first wine tours in the 90’s involved a trip to this stunning region. A 1972 convertible MGB roadster, a tent and an Oddbins salary, so some great camp food washed down with some amazing wines. Hugel was one of the wineries I visited and had the pleasure of tasting through all their wines. It left a fond memory and the wines are still just as good.

Lively and fragrant, pleasant fruit and floral aromas emerge after a few minutes in the glass, revealing mineral notes, flint and lightly smoky with a hint of lime.
